Sometimes this writing thing is annoying as hell.

I head off to sleep last night after replaying the first two campaign scenes in Warzone 2100. I lie there for a bit, tossing and turning..

Then this story idea I had dreamt a while back started fleshing itself out and wouldn't let me get to sleep, so I wrote it all down in the notebook I keep by my bed.

I try again to sleep but cannot. It absolutely insists that I put it in the computer with the rest of my notes. Now!

So, at 5 am, I get out of bed, light up the computer and start tapping away at the keyboard. I get the whole outline for the first chapter in the computer and run out of stuff, so I figure I'm done, right?

So back to bed I crawl..

But nooooooo... The story persists in writing itself.

I still don't know the character's name, but I know how the first chapter reads...
